PPE
PPE stands for Personal Protective Equipment. On a fishing vessel the PPE includes life jackets, rubber boots, a rain suit, and rubber gloves.
Without wearing a life jacket there is a hazard of drowning. Rubber boots can help the worker from slipping around on the wet deck.
A rain suit is mostly used for warmth and to keep the workers dry. Rubber gloves are used to keep the workers hands dry. By wearing all of these
items it will keep the workers safe while working on the water.
